2. What Data We Collect and Why

Contact form

When you fill in the contact form, we collect: name, email address, phone number, and optionally: industry, position, and company size. This data is used to respond to your inquiry and qualify the contact for a business consultation.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to an inquiry).

Website analytics

We analyze website traffic using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) implemented via Google Tag Manager (GTM). This includes: pages visited, time spent, device type, approximate geographic location (country/city), and traffic source. IP addresses are anonymized. No data is linked to your personal identity.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent via cookie consent) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding website usage).

Behavioral analytics (Hotjar)

We use Hotjar to analyze user behavior on the website: heat maps, click recordings, scroll depth, and aggregate usage patterns. Hotjar does not collect personal data — all recordings are anonymized.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

SCCs = Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, ensuring an adequate level of data protection when transferring data to third countries.

4. Cookies

The website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device. We use the following types of cookies:

5. Data Retention

  • Contact form data: for the duration of the business relationship and up to 3 years thereafter, in accordance with the statute of limitations for civil claims.
  • Analytics data (GA4): up to 14 months (GA4 default retention setting).
  • Hotjar data: up to 1 year.
  • Data processed via Make: only as long as necessary to complete the automation flow.

You can request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").

Right to restriction

You can request limitation of processing in certain cases.

Right to object

You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Right to withdraw consent

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Right to lodge a complaint

You may file a complaint with the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

7. Transfers to Third Countries

Some of our sub-processors (Google LLC, Vercel Inc.) are based in the United States. Data transfers to these entities are carried out on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission under Article 46(2)(c) GDPR, providing an adequate level of protection.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at beelements.pl/polityka-prywatnosci. We encourage you to check this page periodically.
